Why do people use LLMs? Do they really not want to experience self-efficacy?

Do something good. Something that’s not half-assed by a lying machine. Build something, learn something.

Don’t spend your life having a broken, lying, factually wrong machine “solve” all your issues and have it do everything you should do yourself.

What’s life for if you don’t life it? If you just have someone do everything for you, but badly?

Can the hype cycle *please* be over already? Bitcoin and NFT were absurd enough as a hype, but at least they were absurd in a way that most people would easily look at them and think “That’s dumb.”… But now they call a stochastic parrot “intelligent”.

I’m so tired of it.

For years I had thought new technology was cool, but the recent few years it had mostly just made me repugn.

Even more so when I think about who collects all the data: Fascists.
